Based in the Netherlands, Salud Foodgroup Europe produces and distributes frozen Avocado products, Appetizers and Tortillas & Grabbetizers to more than 52 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin-America and Oceania. In 1995, Ruud Meijer started selling Avocado products literally from his kitchen table. Now Salud Foodgroup is a renowned company. The Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain departments are located in our Dutch head office, as well as our own Research & Development department with a large test kitchen.  The underlying meaning of the Spanish word ‘Salud’ is ‘Cheers’ and ‘we wish you good health’ which is part of the mission of Salud Foodgroup Europe to continue developing sustainable, environmentally-friendly products whilst not losing sight of health-conscious trends.

Key markets are the food service industry consisting of wholesale, catering and other related businesses. Furthermore, we provide services to Industry, QSR and Retail in Salud brand and Private label. Convenience plays an important role alongside the practical use of the products.
