Olitrem is a family business that appears as a continuation of a previous company, Marecos Lda, founded in 1964 in the city of Luanda by Armando Marecos Ferreira.
Specialized in the production, commercialization and technical assistance of Commercial and Industrial Cold, for the HORECA channel, Catering and Beverages, carries with it the vast experience accumulated over many years of activity.
The company has been gaining more and more space in the market, and is currently one of the largest companies in this area in Portugal and a reference in Europe, with presence in more than 20 countries on 3 continents.
In view of the market’s requirements and in order to implement its improvement policy, Olitrem has invested in the innovation and updating of its facilities, equipment and products, with 180 employees in a production area of 15,500 m².
In 2016 we rebranded our trademark MARECOS. The new logo incorporates more than 50 years of history, evolution, strategy and investment, maintaining the legacy of where we came from and how we got here.
