HotelloTOP Year Event 2020
The HotelloTOP Year Event is annually attended by > 1,900 guests and is known as one of the ‘must visit’ side events of the Horecava. During the congress, we focus on exciting discoveries, findings, initiatives that seem to have proven themselves and all matters that affect the Dutch Hotello. Besides that, we look back on the previous year. The Hotello with the most distinctive performance is awarded with the title ‘Hotello of the Year’. Through a selection of speakers in the form of TOP Talks and a Keynote we pick up on trends and developments for our branch.
Hotel of the Year Award 2019
The Hotello of the Year Award is the annual election for Hotello’s from one of the known Higher Hotel School courses in the Netherlands. This Hotello has performed distinctly within or outside the hospitality sector in that particular year. The Hotello of the Year distinguishes itself through the core values; hospitable, optimistic, energetic, socially skilled, inventive and pragmatic, ambitious and enthusiastic. Talent of the Year Award 2020
The Talent of the Year Award is the annual election for Hotello’s from one of the known Higher Hotel School courses in the Netherlands. This student obtained an outstanding achievement during their study, internship or young career. The Talents are known for their hospitality, optimism, energy, social skills, inventiveness, pragmatism, ambition and enthusiasm.
NXT GM Challenge 2020
Postillion Hotels and HotelloTOP give a student who just graduated from one of the Dutch Hotel Management Schools the possibility of a lifetime! This person is energetic, hospitable, socially skilled, inventive, pragmatic, ambitious and most of all; gets a kick out of achieving results. The winner of the NXT GM Challenge will receive the key of Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer and will be the General Manager for a full year.
Next to the awards, HotelloTOP has developed several other initiatives: the CEO Powerbreakfast, the Board of Inspiration, the Executive New Years Drink and the Executive Dinner.
The CEO powerbreakfast brings CEOs from the Dutch hotel industry together to toast on the new year, to discuss developments in the industry and the HotelloTOP annual theme as well as listening to an inspiring keynote speaker. The Board of Inspiration Day, the Executive New Years Drink and the Executive Dinner are network opportunities especially for partners of the HotelloTOP network with the main goal to stimulate networking and doing business between these companies. Besides that, these interactive meetings offer a source of information and inspiration on industry trends and developments for like-minded professionals.
HotelloTOP is the networking organisation for Hotello’s; students and graduates of the Dutch Hotel Management Schools. Throughout the year, we organize multiple networking events and we keep approximately 8.000 Hotello’s and partners up to date about industry developments and trends. In 17 years’ time, the HotelloTOP Year Event has become a household name as the place where Hotello’s annually meet fellows, expand their professional network and catch up with old friends. Besides that, the networking organisation offers more events and platforms where like-minded Hotello´s come together!
