Young Professional Day 2027: Network, Discover & Start!
The future of hospitality starts here. On Thursday 14 January 2027, Horecava will host the Young Professional Day. A special programme for students from hotel schools and hospitality programmes. Together with more than 1,000 other young professionals, you will get to know the industry, meet employers and explore the opportunities available to you after graduation.
During the Young Professional Day, you will visit Horecava and discover the latest developments in foodservice and hospitality. At the Young Professional Career Fair, you can meet over 30 employers and talk to them in an informal and interactive setting about internships, traineeships and entry-level positions. Register through your school and make sure you join us on Thursday 14 January 2027.
Why you should attend the Young Professional Day
Are you ready to explore where your future in hospitality could take you? This is your chance to take your first step towards your career.
At the Young Professional Career Fair, you will meet employers from across the hospitality industry, including foodservice, leisure and events. The Career Fair is organised in collaboration with CuliQuiz and offers much more than simply browsing vacancies. Interactive activities make it easy to connect with different employers and find out which organisations and roles could be a good fit for you.
You will also have access to Horecava, where you can explore the exhibition floor, see what is happening across the industry, discover new concepts and find inspiration for your future. Whether you are looking for inspiration, an internship or simply want to explore where a career in hospitality could take you, the Young Professional Day gives you a unique look behind the scenes of the industry.
Where can you find the Young Professional Day?
The Young Professional Day will take place in First Floor, entrance K of RAI Amsterdam.
The Young Professional Career Fair is open from 10.00 to 15.00 hour.
Who is the Young Professional Day for?
The Young Professional Day is aimed at vocational (MBO) and higher professional education (HBO) students who are exploring opportunities for an internship, traineeship or entry-level position. This includes students from hotel schools and hospitality-related programmes, as well as students following vocational programmes in hospitality, tourism and events. They are ambitious and curious young professionals who are choosing a career in hospitality, tourism or foodservice. In other words, the professionals of tomorrow.
Please note that the Young Professional Day is only open to students aged 18 and over. Students under the age of 18 cannot participate in this programme.
Founding partner Culiquiz
The Young Professional Career Fair is organised by Horecava in collaboration with CuliQuiz, founding partner of this concept. Through interactive gamification elements, CuliQuiz brings students and employers together in an accessible and engaging way. This creates an energetic atmosphere and valuable connections throughout the afternoon.

Participation costs €16 per student. Supervisors can attend free of charge. Participation is only possible for students aged 18 and over.
