Exhibitor warning

Unfortunately, we have noticed that misleading emails are being sent and phone calls made in which the sender falsely claims to be someone within the Horecava organization. This concerns, for example, the sharing of visitor lists and data, information that is prohibited from being shared. You will find a number of examples on this page. Do not reply to the emails, do not click on any links, and do not fill in any information. 

If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a message, please contact us to verify whether the communication actually comes from Horecava. If an email is clearly fake, please warn us so that we can add it to this page. 

 

Calls from RAI Hotel Services

We would like to warn you about phone calls regarding hotel room reservations from anonymous numbers. Please note: RAI Hotel Services never calls from an anonymous number. If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a phone call, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

We would like to alert all exhibitors to the risk of fraudulent approaches by third parties who may claim to be affiliated with our event or acting on our behalf. These parties may offer misleading directory listings, hotel arrangements, or attendee contact lists – often accompanied by invoices or requests for payment.

Please be aware:

  • We do not authorise any external organisation to sell exhibitor or visitor data.
  • Any official communication regarding your participation will come directly from us or our verified partners.
  • If you are ever in doubt about the legitimacy of any offer, invoice, or communication, we strongly advise you to contact us directly for verification.

As in the previous edition, emails are being sent with the subject line ‘Horecava 2025 - [exhibitor name]’, asking if you would like to receive the ‘Pre-registered Attendee list’, see the screenshot below. This email is not from Horecava, as sharing this information is prohibited. Please delete these emails immediately.

Emails are being sent with the subject lines ‘HORECAVA Contacts list’ and ‘CLIENT LIST OF HORECAVA’, asking if you would like to receive the visitor list. These emails are not from Horecava, as sharing this information is prohibited. Please delete these emails immediately.
